Who governs us

UNIDOR Governance

1) Board of Directors (BOD)

The highest organ of the organization

The Board of Directors (BOD) is the highest organ of the organization. The Chair of the Board holds the supreme authority unless the majority of the board members vote otherwise. The Board is comprised of seven (7) members: the Chairperson, the Vice Chairperson, the Secretary General (who is also the Executive Director of the organization), the Treasurer, and three (3) Members.

2) Senior Management Team (SMT)

Day-to-day leadership and supervision

  • The Senior Management Team (SMT) is the second-highest organ in the organization, monitoring and supervising daily activities. They meet whenever there is a demand or decision to be taken.
  • The field-based management team comprises each base manager and sector head, who are responsible for daily routine activities and make decisions at their level. Each base is expected to have an established crisis management committee led by the base manager. Each base manager reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager as well as the Director of Operations.
