UNIDOR implements multisectoral humanitarian and development programmes across nine thematic areas, reaching the most vulnerable communities in South Sudan's hardest-to-access locations.

UNIDOR provides primary healthcare services to underserved communities, including maternal and child health, disease prevention, and emergency medical response in conflict-affected areas.

We address acute malnutrition among children under five and pregnant/lactating women through community-based management, supplementary feeding, and nutrition education programmes.

UNIDOR constructs and rehabilitates water points, builds latrines, and promotes hygiene behaviour change to reduce waterborne diseases and improve dignity in communities and schools.

We provide psychosocial support, case management, and community-based protection mechanisms for survivors of gender-based violence, unaccompanied minors, and conflict-affected populations.

UNIDOR supports smallholder farmers with seeds, tools, and training, and provides cash-based interventions and livelihood support to help households achieve food security and economic resilience.

We support access to quality education through construction of learning spaces, teacher training, provision of learning materials, and back-to-school campaigns for out-of-school children.

UNIDOR facilitates inter-community dialogue, conflict mediation, and social cohesion activities to address the root causes of conflict and build lasting peace in South Sudan.

We build community resilience to climate shocks through disaster risk reduction, early warning systems, climate-smart agriculture, and environmental restoration initiatives.

As Co-Lead for Localization under the Dutch Relief Alliance and LAG Global Chair, UNIDOR champions the shift of power and resources to local actors in South Sudan's humanitarian system.
